Our baseball program relies on numerous volunteers to successfully operate. This is no small task; this last spring season alone, SOM baseball put on more than 200 games for players ages 5-14, spread across eight divisions. Managing a program of this size is only possible with the efforts of a dedicated and passionate Baseball Committee.

As with every year, we are seeking volunteers to join the committee to replace members who are rotating off.

Committee members serve for a three-year term and attend leadership meetings several times a year, in addition to their own responsibilities as a subcommittee chair or co-chair. We welcome all adult members of our SOM Baseball community to be considered as a Committee member; coaching and/or playing experience is not required for most roles.

Details about our open spots are below. If you’re interested, please fill out this brief form here: https://forms.gle/g49qePPqHmVtYhGP8 by no later than Friday, September 10. A Baseball Committee member will reach out within the next month to follow-up on your interest. If you have questions, please reach out to Pam Bachorz (pbachorz@yahoo.com) and Peter Travers (ptravers@southorange.org).
