2027 SOM Baseball Travel Tryouts Coming this September / October 

SOM Travel Baseball is holding tryouts for 8u-13u for the 2027 season, which will include winter training and spring and summer seasons!

Tryouts will be held for the 8U-12U age divisions at Meadowland Park in late September / early October. Local professional baseball coaches will lead the players through a series of fielding, throwing, hitting and pitching (optional) drills. Evaluations will be conducted by current and past travel coaches and Columbia High School  Baseball coaches and seniors. We will ensure that no evaluation is completed by a parent coach from the age group of the player trying out.

Roster placements must be earned each year and are not guaranteed based on prior season participation, although returning players receive a small bonus score increment to acknowledge past participation. Tryout times and eligibility are as follows:
